Summer: textured flower oil painting

A summery painting featuring lively floral textures against a swirling sky. These red blooms were spotted in Leeds' Hyde Park on my way to the bus stop. The perfect inspiration to extend my textured lavender approach to a new colour palette.

Framing tips: A dark mahogany styled frame will work well on this. If you prefer a lighter finish, you could choose a white or grey frame to echo the colours in the clouds.
