Way back when

One of my childhood paintings in the 1980s was selected for an exhibition in Japan. I was probably around 10 or 11 and absolutely mortified because it was, in my opinion, a total disaster and the worst thing I had ever created.

I also organised an interschools art exhibition when I was in my teens. It taught me that people are less reliable than they say they will be and that I'm not very good at mounting artwork.
