    Collaborations

In 2022–23, I teamed up with the University of Leeds Special Collections team to provide an exhibition project collaboration for my MA Design students. Proud to announce that there is a highlights reel from the students’ projects included in the “Preserving the passion: Northern Ballet’s Romeo and Juliet” exhibition. The exhibition is live at the Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery until 23 March. I'm delighted to be one of 64 artists who contributed illustrations to Laura Jaworski's inspiring collection of reflections on art and creativity: Inspire possibility, exhale creativity. Read more in my blog and order your own copy from Amazon.

    Way back when

One of my childhood paintings in the 1980s was selected for an exhibition in Japan. I was probably around 10 or 11 and absolutely mortified because it was, in my opinion, a total disaster and the worst thing I had ever created.

I also organised an interschools art exhibition when I was in my teens. It taught me that people are less reliable than they say they will be and that I'm not very good at mounting artwork.
