Daffodil pouffes of joy: flower painting

Bring the joy of spring indoors all year round with this cheerful daffodil artwork. Inspired by the lovely daffodils blooming in my garden in 2020. I love the promise of sunshine that daffodils bring.

A friend described a dancer painting I did when I was first experimenting with this circular technique as "little pouffes of joy" and the description stuck. The technique involves lots of layers of tiny circles in acrylic paint. This flower study is on A4 art board (approx. 210 by 297 mm).
