Artist notes: The first castle I visited in Britain so was delighted to revisit it again and capture it in paint. Love how well Britain does autumn, a joy to paint. I felt like I was painting a puzzle with this one. I began this in 2020 and gave it a few more layers in 2024 to accentuate the depth and bring out the richness of the colour palette.
