Artist notes: The first in a series of 3 (so far). Thriving is an acrylic and mixed media series exploring transformation. Created in my Otley home studio, each creation repurposes an upcycled canvas to explore layering and transformation. The wild arum lilies are symbolic and represent my South African roots.
