See for yourself – summer exhibition news
Share
There’s a busy July on the horizon for me. Hope you can pop in to one of these events. Great opportunities to see my work in person (trust me, the textures and colours are always better in real life) and enjoy creations by the other artists I’m exhibiting alongside.
Flora, Halifax
Summer breeze – a new creation in my my lavender series – will be exhibited in the Open Gallery’s Flora exhibition. Flora opens on Saturday 8 July and runs until Friday 28 July. Visit the exhibition upstairs at the Open Gallery, Rawson Street, Halifax.

Kirkstall Art Trail, Leeds
There are a good 70 artists taking part in this year’s Kirkstall Art Trail. You’ll find me and photographer, Mel Dewey, upstairs at the Kirkstall Starbucks. I’ll be taking along a collection of new Yorkshire landscapes, plus probably at least one piece from each of my dance, floral and seascape collections (trying to figure out whether to select different pieces for the Saturday and Sunday). I’ll also have an assortment of hand-painted notecards. Including lots of new creations that are not yet available through my website.
Plus – I’m planning on doing a spot of live illustration, if it’s not too busy. Come long and watch me work. The Art Trail runs on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July. There's loads of wonderful creatives taking part. And the Kirkstall Abbey ruins and grounds are worth a visit too.
Botany, Sheffield
Quiet doorstep evenings well spent, drinking in the magic of a glowing daisy disco. Wild flowers reclaimed their spaces and fed our souls during the pandemic. We’re all part of this ecosystem. Little shifts make bigger changes than we anticipate.
Dancing at dusk – one of my lockdown creations – is off to Sheffield for the Botany exhibition at the Fronteer Gallery in Sheffield’s Orchard Square. Botany will run from 20 July to 12 August.

I've already got a few more events lined up for the autumn. Join my email newsletter to be first to hear about these.
Please contact the venues if you have particular access requirements. These exhibitions are upstairs and unfortunately not all venues are fully accessible.
The photos included in this blog were taken at home. Event images will be shared after the exhibition openings.
