Reading Charity Art Fair: One week to go!

Oil painting of swans on the Thames near Reading by Jeanne-Louise. The painting depicts a winter scene with bare trees visible across the water and the soft colours of a winter sunset are reflected on the water.

Wow, only a week until the Reading Charity Art Fair. This time next week I'll be enjoying meeting my fellow exhibitors and sampling art and canapés at the preview evening. How exciting!

I'm one of 88 artists, ceramicists and sculptors taking part in this year's event in the Oakview room at Reading's Leighton Park School. I believe there's going to be a wonderful range of 325 hung paintings and 10 tables of ceramics on display. A bigger event than the last art fair held before the pandemic in 2019.

If you're planning to visit the art fair, the event will be open to the public on Saturday (open 10am–5pm) and Sunday (open 10am–4pm). There's no entry fee and the Art Café will be open for cakes and refreshments – yum!

If you're further afield, keep an eye on my instagram as I'll be sharing some highlights there during the event.
