Keen to discover new artists? Looking for a splash of colour to keep that summer feeling on your walls all year round? Or perhaps you're getting a head start on your festive season shopping? Come to one of these August events where you can discover a range of artists and makers and see some of my work on display.
Pyramid Art Trail
I'm delighted to be joining the Pyramid arts collective for their very first upcoming arts trail and market. Pyramid is a Leeds-based arts collective that champions art intiatives for people with learning disabilities. Find out more about their initiatives here. The trail will feature works by members of the collective and the market includes other stall holders like myself. Come along and enjoy my bird creations in their first physical display together. The display will include artwork – like the Flamingo above – not yet available through my website, as well as some creations that you can currently view here. You'll also be able to browse a variety of my popular nature-inspired greetings cards and some smaller works on paper.
When: 5 August 2023, 11am to 3pm
Where: Pyramid Studio, Unit 3, 18 Croydon Street, LS11 9RT
If you've not yet seen them, pop along to the Fronteer Gallery and enjoy the Botany and Small textiles exhibitions. There are around 40 artists taking part in each of these. I've delighted my Dancing at dusk textured creation (pictured) is part of the Botany display.
When: ends 12 August
Where: Fronteer Gallery, Unit 4, Orchard Square, Sheffield, S1 2FB

I've seen two exhibitions at the Open Gallery to date. Both featured a great range of work and were well curated. Looking forward to the Summer Exhibition in which you'll be able to enjoy two of my oil paintings, including Nonchalance and one of my favourite seascapes, Soul, hung alongside creations by other artists.
When: opens 12 August to 2 September
Where: Open Gallery, 18 Rawson Street, Halifax, HX1 1NH
